The greater tubercle has three facets, for three muscles to attach. The superior facet is where the supraspinatus attaches, middle facet - infraspinatus, inferior facet - teres minor. The lesser tubercle is where the subscapularis muscle attaches

It has three processes: acromion, spine and coracoid process.

The clavicle is an "S" shape. Medially, it is convex anteriorly, laterally, it is concave anteriorly.

The scapula has 3 angles - lateral, superior and inferior.

The long head of the triceps attaches to the infraglenoid tubercle. The long head of the biceps attaches to the supraglenoid tubercle.
